The bus of FC Pirin, charged with humanitarian aid, left for Bolgrad, Ukraine. They will be evacuated from there 35 man, who are expected to arrive in Bulgaria after 3 days.
The humanitarian aid was collected by donors and fans of the Eagles' Club. Two drivers and two volunteers , one of whom is a Bessarabian Bulgarian, student at SWU, left by football club bus. "They are our heroes in this difficult time," said club owner Paul Belogur.
In addition to the delivery of humanitarian aid, the bus of FC Pirin will also evacuate people from Bolgrad.
“We are waiting 35 people to come to Blagoevgrad by bus”, declare Mr. Belogur.
The organization of the humanitarian mission was taken over by the municipality of Blagoevgrad, which will also accommodate refugees, said Emilia Khalilova, Director of the Social Activities Directorate.
“We will make the necessary organization to be accommodated”, said Mr Belogur.
