In the first three meetings, the "eagles" recorded one defeat and two consecutive draws, and in the last match in Varna against Spartak Kitan Vassilev opened the scoring with his first goal for Pirin, but the hosts equalized minutes before the final whistle.

"On Saturday I expect a difficult clash against a team, which is well balanced and can be very dangerous at any moment of the match. We are at the beginning of the season and each of the teams is still building their playing style. The same goes for our lineup. We work hard, to improve our performance. I can only praise the team for their efforts, which lays, as in training, as well as in the official meetings so far. We are building a team together, to play attractive, attacking football, but whoever is also responsible in the protection phase. It's a process, which takes its time. Of course, parallel to this we also need points, so it is normal that the first win of the season should be a priority for us. We will fight for her, even more, that in each of the matches so far we have led in the result, but in the end we fell a little short, to win the three points. This applies especially to the last two matches - against CSKA 1948 and Spartak.
We must continue to act with discipline, with the same energy and spirit and the results will come. I am sure, that our loyal supporters will support us this time as well, and we will please them with a worthy performance on the field", Petrov stated.
