FC Pirin reports, that midfielder Svetoslav Dyakov will perform the functions of technical director of the club.

The former captain of the Bulgarian national team accepted the invitation of the management and until the end of this season will combine his role of team leader in the middle of the field with that of his new position as technical director.

Dyakov will work in sync with sports director Petar Mihtarski and head coach Radoslav Mitrevski and will be the link between the players and the club's management.

"I will start with that, that I have made a decision for a long time, which my family and loved ones know, namely, that this is my last year as a professional footballer. That is why I accepted the offer of the management to help me as a technical director until the end of my contract. Then if both parties are satisfied with the conditions and work, which for me will be something new, we will continue together. Responsibility, which I assume is great, but I'm not worried about the challenge! I will try to help the players, coaches and management. No matter how long I will be, I will work correctly, diligently and according to my principles, as well as of course for the interest of Pirin "said Svetoslav Dyakov to www.fcpirin.com

FC Pirin thanks Sunny Dyakov and wishes him success on the field, and beyond!
