On Wednesday, 28 February, Pirin visits Heber in the ¼ final of the tournament for the Bulgarian Cup. The match has a starting time 14.30. In the event of a tie in regular time, extra time and possibly penalties follow. On his way here, Pirin sidestepped Vihren (Sandanski) after a victory with 1:0 as a guest and Botev (Vratsa) with a home win after extra time with 2:1.

Information about the excursion of the supporters of the team can be found in the official channels of the club in social networks.

On the occasion of the upcoming match in Pazardzhik, head coach Oleksandr Babich gave a short interview to www.fcpirin.com, in which he shared his expectations.

"We are training in a great mood after the victory, which we won in Vratsa in the last round. The boys are working hard. We have two or three with injuries, but nothing serious. Of course, let's hope things stay like this after the last training session (b.r.. on Tuesday afternoon). The permanently injured Ilian Kostov remains out of the plans, who is not clear if he will soon be able to join the training process, as well as the punished, because of the two yellow cards in the match with Botev Aymen Souda.

We watched a few of Heber's fights. They are a good team with an excellent coach, showed great character in the victory at the end of their game with Lokomotiv (Plovdiv). I don't think so, that this, that they are home in the upcoming match will give them a special advantage. We know, that our fans will support us. This is a tournament clash, and the odds in this case are 50 on 50. We must pursue our goal and be uncompromising.

I have the experience of participating in the ½ final of the Ukrainian Cup tournament with Mariupol, when we lost on penalties to Vorskla, we were just one step away from the finish line (b.r.. season 2019-20). Now I hope Pirin and I will have more success. It takes healthy nerves, composure and patience.

In the first half of the match with Botev in Vratsa we followed our game plan and from that point of view I was very satisfied. We acted, as we had determined to do. Among this, staying with one person less we had to improvise in some situations. But I would like to see the same self-giving, spirit and discipline also in the match with Heber", Eagles' mentor finished.
