Svetoslav Dyakov and Stanislav Manolev have set themselves the goal of restoring Pirin's identity, imposing local staff in the “eaglets”. This was revealed by the two in an interview on DIEMA SPORT after the match with Botev Vratsa, which was the last for the former nationals. Before the match, the two received special plaques from Pirin owner Paul Belogur, the Mayor of Blagoevgrad Municipality Ilko Stoyanov and the Deputy Executive Director of the Bulgarian Football Union Valentin Chakarov.
“We must move forward. Integer number 1 it is up to both of us to integrate young people from our region, we have to find the right people and be in the elite, of course. Every match has its meaning, there were good and bad moments – with us both moments were more good, because we played in leading teams. I want to thank all the people, who followed our performances, they have supported us and let them continue to love football – this is the best game in the world”, said Manolev.
“We need to give way to the young, we played in good teams, I hope we can help the young boys. As before 20 years people gave us a chance. We have gathered a team of locals, who love this club, we want to restore his identity, but in the first team no one will get anything for free. I can't name a match of my career, bad moments learn more. We need to integrate more Bulgarians in our championship. We have to help, to be useful, not to be one of those, who criticize for good and bad. We must work for the good of Bulgarian football”, shared Dyakov.
