End of the winning streak
Pirin lost 3:1 to Lokomotiv (Sofia) in a game from the 9th round of the Second League. Ilian Stefanov opened the scorе in the 15th minute with a header after a perfect cross from right. Two minutes later, the referee Georgi Davidov passed two fouls in the penalty area of Lokomotiv – against Preslav Yordanov and Alexander Dyulgerov.
In the 33rd minute Stefanov scored again. This time number 10 from the opponent with a brilliant shot from the age of the penalty area to double the lead of his team.
In the 52nd minute Alexander Dyulgerov was sent off with a non-existent red card for “violation” against Alexandrov. Television replies showed that Alexandrov held our player, not him.
Pedro Ferrari scored the third goal for Sofia in the 56th minute. Conor Henderson scored a goal for our team in the 89th minute.
This was the end of the run of four consecutive wins in all competations.
With the third loss since the beginning of the season, Pirin remain six points behind the leader Lokomotiv. The next opponent of our team is Minyor (Pernik).
