A new beginning for DYUR in Pirin

With a thought of a promising future and a memory of a glorious past, DYUS on Pirin (Blagoevgrad) embarks on a new path. The goal for the new leadership is to make the Eagles' school one of the leaders in the country again.

Academy, known as the "talent hatchery" has produced a number of shots, who have become legends of Bulgarian football and have glorified Blagoevgrad and our country around the world.

The mayor of the city - Ilko Stoyanov puts the development of the school as one of his main goals in his term. The mayor has given a full carte blanche for the action of the leadership of the academy in the person of the manager of OFK Pirin - Atanas Dafinov, thus ensuring confidence in your choice of team.

The new director of DYUSh of Pirin Petar Karachorov will try to introduce a new football philosophy, through which the club to keep its most promising talents and at the same time to develop and prepare them for professional football. The set high goals, will require not only a lot of work and effort, but also execution time.

The requirements for coaches will be increased, in order for their growth and improvement of the training process and the improvement of young players.

Panels are made for significant improvement of material base, by building new terrains in the future. In the coming days, the coaches will be provided with new tools, through which to help improve the work process.

Pirin won his visit to CSKA - Sofia from the 29th round of the First League with 2:1.

Vitalis Jagodinskis opened the scoring in the 14th minute, but in the 26th Fernando Karanga equalized. In the 79th minute, Ivan Tasev scored the winning goal after a famous shot with his right foot.

Thus, Pirin won for the first time in a championship away game against this rival in Sofia and continued his good performance through 2024 years under the leadership of Alexander Babich.

Evgeni Georgiev signed a professional contract with Pirin

We are pleased to announce, that Evgeni Georgiev signed his first professional contract with our club.

The youth of Pirin, who plays as an attacking midfielder, made his debut for the representative team in the First League under the guidance of the mentor Oleksandr Babic in the visit of Botev (Vratsa) in February. He then came on as a reserve in five more championship matches.

We wish Evgeni much success with the Pirin jersey!
