Krasimir Petrov and Vasil Petrov is the new coaching tandem at the head of the representative team of Pirin. Krasimir Petrov was part of Levski's school (Sofia) and led the representative team of CSKA 1948 in the First League. In Friday, 8 July, he will graduate 41 years.

The composition of the coaching staff remains unchanged, like to him, Manol Zanev joins as assistant coach, who until now worked at the club's school.

“I didn't hesitate for a second, when I received the invitation from Manolev and Dyakov to take over the team. This is a club with history and it is a great honor to coach this team. Once I agreed it's not a problem for me, that I didn't do any training. I am aware of the state the team is in. Colleagues have done a good job. From here on out, I'm in charge. We haven't talked about goals. I have set myself the goal of seeing a Pirin, who is not afraid of anyone. Pirin, who plays with pride and confidence. I want to see a Pirin, to fill the stands of the stadium. These are my goals”, were Krasimir Petrov's first words.

The new coaching tandem was presented at a press conference at the Hristo Botev Stadium, which was attended by President Stanislav Manolev, executive director Velislav Elezov and technical director Svetoslav Dyakov.

“I want to thank Krasi Petrov, that he agreed to take over the team. He knows our views. He is aware, that we have a mixture of experienced and young footballers. We want to make young players. Dyakov and I are united in the cause of working more with Bulgarian football players. He is a young coach, who has modern views, new methodologies. Krasi will be useful. We will talk more on the football field”, said team president Stanislav Manolev.
