Dear supporters, dear media representatives. In connection with the artificially accumulated tension in recent days around our club, related to the release of children from the Elite Academy, we would like to express our official position.
After the change of the club management and the arrival of our general sponsor, our main goal is related not only to the return of the representative team to the elite of Bulgarian football, but also to the overall restructuring and modernization of the club.
Apart from the infrastructural and material improvements, some of which are already a fact, one of the main goals of the project is the creation of an Elite Academy Pirin, whose teams to participate in the Elite Youth Groups of Bulgaria. Which already also a fact. From the 2020-21 season we will have teams in the Elite groups in the ages U15, U17, U19. The process of creating such teams involves the selection and release of players at certain ages, because, as it is well known, the number of players in a team is limited. The ultimate goal of the Elite Academy Pirin is the establishment of professional footballers who will ideally feed our representative team, hopefully as well as the national teams of Bulgaria.

To this end, we invest financial resources in the base, methodology, modern technologies, coaching staff, medical staff and try to provide the ultimate working conditions, equal to the best in Europe.
We must emphasize that just as we have the responsibility to be in charge of a famous club like Pirin, so we also have the responsibility for our operational decisions.
This includes the appointment of a director of the Elite Academy Pirin, whom we firmly support and we will give him the necessary time to be able to achieve the results required of him.
On our club email info@fcpirin.com we received an invitation for a meeting with parents of released children, scheduled for 29.06.2020. The letter is actually anonymous, signed by “Parents of Children”, which makes our answer virtually impossible. We communicate by standing with our names and positions in the club.
In this regard, we would like to emphasize that due to the commitment related to our representative team (which includes 9 Pirin players raised in our academy), President Iva Warren and Technical Director Graham Warren are not able to attend the unilateral meeting of “Parents of Children “on June 29.

We invite the parents in question to a meeting in the administrative building of Hristo Botev Stadium, 1 Dabravska Street on Thursday, July 2, from 19:00. In connection with the anti-epidemic requirements of the Ministry of Health, the meeting is planned in a hall with a capacity of no more than ten people.
Last but not least, we believe that putting personal, individual interests in the foreground and involving Pirin in irrelevant intrigues could be an obstacle to the development of the club, as well as affect negatively the performance of our teams. For too long, Blagoevgrad’s favorite team suffered from separation. That is why we want to thank everyone who believed in the idea of redeveloping the club and supported us.
We are convinced that only together and united we can contribute to the better days of our Pirin!
Only Pirin!
