On Saturday, 14 May, footballers, coaches and employees of FC Pirin will join the large-scale cleaning campaign “Clean and green Blagoevgrad! It depends on us!”, organized by the Municipality of Blagoevgrad.
The initiative for the spring cleaning of the city will include young football players from the Children and Youth School of FC Pirin, as well as their coaches.
“The eaglets” will clean in the area of the stadium “Hristo Botev”, where one of the special tents of the campaign will be placed. It will have the necessary cleaning materials.
Such tents will be located on the alley in the park “Bachinovo”, on the green areas at the dormitories of the American University, as well as in the neighborhoods “Strumsko” (opposite the Stomi supermarket), “West”, “Liberation” (in front of the Builder block), “The community” (in front of the Chinese Mall), “Elenovo” and “Alain Mack” (in the yard of SC Pirin).
The official start of the big cleanup will be set in 10.00 hours from the patron of the campaign – Deputy Prime Minister for Climate Policy and Minister of Environment and Water Borislav Sandov and the Mayor of Blagoevgrad Municipality Stoyanov on Sq.. People's awakeners (the space between the buildings of RIM Blagoevgrad and the former Youth Home).
