FC Pirin achieved a draw in their first friendly in Turkey against FC Rabotnicki Skopje. The Eagles equalized late in the game with a goal from the 17-year-old striker Marian Vangelov, who caught the cross from Valchanov, from the right. The goal produced another young talent –  Tasev who fought for a lost ball and launched the attack.

Two different starting elevens were used by manager Warren Feeney, and both of his line-ups performed well according to the norther Irish boss.

The goal for the Macedonians came at the very end of the first half when, after a direct free kick, a striker scored after the ball was knocked out by goalkeeper Dafovski. Previously, the Rabotnicki team also missed a penalty, given for Mitev’s offense.

In the first hald, one goal per each teams was canceled because of offside.

Nice shot at the end by Gloar Antonio’s could have brought victory to the Greens, but goalkeeper Shishkovski saved it.

The next match for Pirin is on 01.020 against FC Macedonia Gjorche Petrov.
