In serious sports media, as well as in phone calls from the scene ( meeting of the DUF commission at the Bulgarian Football Union), OFK Pirin EOOD Blagoevgrad reaches information, without official notification, that the club has been denied a place in the newly formed ELITE football group for children up to 15 years. According to this information, which is currently not officially announced and has not been approved by the BFU executive committee, all teams from the First League will take part in this republican group, without two, as well as four teams, selected on a regional basis.
The information arouses extreme bewilderment in us, that OFK Pirin was denied participation. This refusal, at least for now, it is not substantiated and substantiated, and the worst, it seems totally and deliberately predestined.
With this refusal, talented set of children born in 2004 g. is deprived of the opportunity to compete with the best teams in Bulgaria. Looking at the pre-announced composition of the Elite Group U15, more than glaring is the lack of a team from Southwestern Bulgaria ( we exclude Sofia, which will actually have five participants ).
OFK Pirin EOOD Blagoevgrad finds the decision taken to be extremely short-sighted and offensive to the club and the regional center. We definitely dare to say, that the school of southwestern Bulgaria deserves more serious and encouraging attention. Looking at the composition of national teams in the latter 15-20 years, we can safely say, that the products of DYUSh of the schools in Blagoevgrad and the region, are the heart of all our representative garnishes.
In this regard, we find the composition of the new Elite Group U15 to be approved and proposed absolutely unacceptable and we sincerely hope, with a view to the good future of Bulgarian football, the names of the teams, who will take part, to be reviewed.
